Francesca is passionate about children experiencing science through theatre. Having trained as an actor, once she started to perform in many science based shows, she found that mixing science and theatre together, creates magic.

Theatre can unlock a child’s imagination and curiosity—especially when it comes to science. Subjects that once felt intimidating or dull, suddenly become thrilling adventures. Theatre doesn’t just teach; it inspires. It reaches children in ways that textbooks and lectures often can’t, turning abstract ideas into living, breathing experiences they’ll never forget.

Our Shows

Fizz, Bang and Labracadabra

Welcome to Fizz, Bang and Labracadabra—a dazzling blend of curriculum-linked science and theatrical magic, designed to ignite curiosity in young minds. Created by science educator and performer Francesca, this interactive show transforms classrooms and assemblies into laboratories of laughter, learning, and hands-on discovery.

🎓 Curriculum-Aligned Learning, Delivered with a Bang, our show is crafted to support KS1 and KS2 science objectives, making it a perfect enrichment experience for schools. Each performance is packed with live demonstrations, student participation, and themed experiments that reinforce key scientific concepts:

🔥 Fire Building & Safety: Explore combustion, heat transfer, and the fire triangle through safe, supervised activities that teach both science and responsibility.

🧲 Magnetism: Investigate magnetic forces, poles, and materials through captivating experiments that reveal the power of invisible forces.

🧪 Chemical Reactions: From fizzing potions to colour-changing spells, students witness real chemical changes and learn to identify reactants and products.

🧊💧🔥 States of Matter: Solids, liquids, and gases come alive through dramatic transformations—showing how certain materials can even change form.

🎭 Inclusive, Interactive, and Unforgettable Every child becomes part of the show, joining our Scientist as their whimsical science assistants, to cast “spells” that reveal the wonders of the natural world.
